CySec Regulation

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission or CySec is the financial markets regulatory authority for Cyprus.

For many years CySec has been viewed as a second grade regulatory body that serviced a smaller boutique list of brokerage and financial services institutions. This is no longer the case as the past five years have seen some of the largest brokerage firms setting up shop in Cyprus.

CySec now oversees one of the largest list of institutions per capita in the world and they have had to up their game to keep up and keep it clean.
